Lynn Sommer lives in Lancaster County, PA, with her husband, after growing up in a small Swiss Mennonite community in Ohio. In her formative years, her parents filled her home with wonderful music, including traditional hymns and traditional folk art motifs. These motifs were found in herr quilts, stenciled walls, painted furniture and fraktur.
