The West Conestoga: Lancaster County's First Amish Settlement

This book is an account of the Amish families who settled in the wilderness of William Penn's experiment of religious toleration.  The West Conestoga congregation probably took form between 1734 and 1740 in Lancaster County, which is today the home of a large Old Order Amish Population.
