Burner has a metal dish inside to protect the brass.

Note for Use: Place lit charcoal on grate; add incense when charcoal is glowing.  Heated resin is sticky, so it is best to place on top of charcoal.  Take care with placing lit charcoal in the bottom of the incense burner as it may damage the table surface.
