Enjoy a day outdoors exploring local history on a bike tour on the Warwick Ephrata Rail Trail.

Tour leader and LMHS board member John Weber guides the group from Ephrata to Lititz. This five-stop tour includes the Jacob Huber house, where Moravian leader Count Zinzendorf tried to unite all PA Germans through his preaching. Another stop focuses on the Hess Homestead that dates to 1734. The late Clarke Hess restored this property, and a number of his well-documented and rare material culture artifacts are now part of LMHS's collections

Participants gather at Ephrata’s Fulton Street/Railroad Street intersection trailhead by 9:15 am.
