Wall Hanging: Eight Pointed Star
This eight pointed star pattern became a popular design among the Pennsylvania Germans in the 19th century. It often adorned needlework given to teenagers as part of their "outfitting" before marriage.
Becky Gochnauer pieced the wall hanging and Dorothy Siegrist quilted the wall hanging.
